Matthys Elementary welcomed a new member to the school family. Zoey Alexandre Gatlin was born in November. The proud parents are Holly Barber-Gatlin, Matthys Elementary fourth grade teacher and David Q. Gatlin IV.

Dobie High School’s head volleyball coach Dawn (Gutierrez) Sexton and Anthony tied the knot during the Thanksgiving break.
We offer condolences to the family of Jo Gremillion who passed away January 4 at age 86. She was the mother of Jensen Elementary kindergarten teacher Sharlon Davis, grandmother of Michelle Clem, Tegeler Career Center reading intervention teacher and Bondy Intermediate seventh grade teacher Hope Carmichael. Funeral services will be held in the afternoon on January 8 at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena.
