Longtime Pasadena ISD Board of Trustee member Marshall Kendrick and his wife, Denie, were given Hollywood treatment Monday, Aug. 24 as they made their way down the red carpet at the middle school that bears his name.
Faculty, staff and district administrators stood at the end of the carpet to meet the campus celebrities as they strolled through the main lobby before touring the school.
“I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received when we entered the building,” Kendrick said. “This is such an honor and a privilege. A lot of hard work has gone into building this facility and it truly shows.”
The 130,000 square-foot facility, located at 3000 Watters Road, will open its doors to over 750 students on the first day of school, Aug. 24.
