Pearl Hall Students have been able to participate in the GRAIL MoonKAM program, funded by Sally Ride Science. Two satellites, named Ebb and Flow, are currently in orbit around the Moon. Onboard, there are two sets of cameras that we are able to remotely access and send detailed lattitude and longitudinal coordinates for locations on the Moon to be photographed. Pearl Hall receives a copy of the pictures that we request, and all photos taken by participating schools are posted to the GRAIL MoonKAM website - http://moonkam.ucsd.edu/
Below, you will find a gallery of the photos of the Moon that Pearl Hall Elementary students have requested. Photos will be uploaded as they are taken and delivered, so the images will change frequently!
