Answers
1)  Q How do I apply for the PISD PD?
A
As positions become available, qualified applicants are solicited and encouraged to submit an on-line application to the Human Resources Department of Pasadena ISD. The Police Department collects the applications from Human Resources and contacts the applicants. Applicants are advised of the date and time of the entrance examination. Following the examination, successful applicants are screened, interviewed, polygraphed, and scheduled for a review board. The review board forwards recommendations to the Administrative Staff for employment.

The State of Texas adopted the FBI Uniform Crime Report as its official statewide crime report in 1976.  This report is based on uniform classifications and procedures of reporting.  This report is intended to measure the extent, fluctuation, distribution, and nature of crime through the collection of data on the seven serious Crime Index Offenses: Murder, Rape, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Larceny, and Auto Theft.
