What:   

Based on a child's IEP, a variety of instructional supports can be provided.  These services may include:

bullet Supplemental Aides and Services provided within the General Education Classroom - commonly referred to as Inclusion or Mainstream. msimagelist
bullet Special Education Instruction provided for some of the day - commonly referred to as Resource. msimagelist
bullet Special Education Instruction provided for most of the day - commonly referred to as self contained. msimagelist
bullet Special Education Instruction which focuses on specific educational needs of a student - such as behavior, social skills, independent living, physical/medical, vocational, etc. msimagelist

Who: 

Any student ages 5-21 who has been identified as disabled and in need of Special Education Services.
