The mission of Pasadena ISD, the gateway to unlimited opportunity for the youth of our culturally rich community, is to empower students to become accomplished, self-directed, and collaborative citizen-scholars who boldly contribute to an increasingly complex and evolving world by engaging in rigorous curriculum, relevant experiences, and positive relationships while embracing the uniqueness of each individual.
Strategic Objectives Each student will graduate from high school, prepared for career and/or college, capable of personal and professional growth and adaptability. All students will embrace the value, worth, and dignity within themselves and in others. Each student will be a productive citizen strongly committed to family, volunteerism, and community leadership. All students will live purposeful lives of unlimited opportunities impacting others positively, improving themselves continuously, and pursuing their dreams courageously.
Strategies We will ensure rigorous curriculum and relevant learning experiences that promote real life application. We will provide flexible learning environments, structures, and schedules that meet the needs of all 21st century learners. We will develop and promote 21st century career and college exploration and preparation programs for all students. We will actively recruit, develop, and retain a highly qualified staff. We will relentlessly pursue a culturally responsive approach to meaningful parental engagement. We will ensure vital and ongoing relationships with our business and community partners. We will embed appropriate technologies throughout the district to support both instructional and administrative needs.
Parameters We will make decisions based on what is best for each student. We will treat all people with dignity and respect. We will not compromise excellence. We will demand the best from each other. We will have faith in all of our students. We will not give up on any student.
