Character Education Program

The world today is a challenge for all of us, and helping a child find his or her way is no easy task.  What do we want our children to walk away with at the end of their school experience? Yes, we want them to have a firm academic foundation, but we also want them to know how to resolve conflicts peacefully, care about others, be honest and have confidence in themselves.

Here at Turner Elementary it is our goal to help each student realize these important traits through a collaborative effort between parents, teachers, administrators, and students. Each month we will focus on a particular character trait.  The entire school will build upon these traits through modeling and reinforcing positive behaviors.
