Contract Responsibilities

School-Parent-Student Contract

School Responsibility:

  1. Community School will provide a safe and positive learning environment that promotes a high quality curriculum that will meet the needs of your child.
  2. Community School will monitor attendance and communicate problematic absences.
  3. Community School will monitor student progress, and staff will be available to meet with students and/or parents.
  4. Community School will conference with parents to discuss student academic progress.
  5. Community School will communicate school rules and enforce appropriate behavior.

Student Responsibility:

  1. I will attend school every day. I understand that if I am absent more than 3 times in a term, I will be dropped from the program. (4 tardies = 1 absence)
  2. I will come to school with the proper supplies.
  3. I will come to school with a positive attitude.
  4. I will come to school to succeed.
  5. I will show respect for others and for school property.
  6. I will listen to my teachers and follow all directions.
  7. I will pay attention in class and will not disturb others.
  8. I will encourage my parents to attend parent conferences.
  9. I will do assignments outside of class, as required.
  10. I will abide by dress and conduct expectations of PISD.

Parent Responsibility:

  1. I will make sure my child attends school daily and arrange for transportation, as needed.
    I understand that if my child is absent more than 3 times in a term, he/she will be dropped from the program. (4 tardies = 1 absence)
  2. I will equip my child with the required supplies for school.
  3. I will encourage my child and model a positive attitude about school.
  4. I will motivate my child to succeed.
  5. I will encourage my child to show respect others and for school property.
  6. I will expect my child to follow the directions of school personnel
  7. I will attend scheduled parent conferences to discuss my child's academic achievement.
  8. I will monitor my child's academic progress and contact school personnel as needed.
  9. I will encourage my child to do assignments outside of class, as required.
  10. I will encourage my child to abide by dress and conduct expectations of PISD.
