Pasadena ISD Video Broadcasting Showcase

Pasadena ISD uses video conferencing technology to provide students with the opportunity to participate in virtual field trips with content providers located throughout the world. Examples of past conference providers  include Space Center Houston, the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, the San Diego Zoo, and many other providers.  Through the conferences, Pasadena ISD students have been able to access experts and observe events such as solar eclipses (for 8th grade science students) and live open heart surgery (for high school H.O.S.A. students) which would be difficult or perhaps too expensive experience in person.
