Dobie's Patrick Hurst sets sail for the sideline en route to a 13-yard touchdown run and the game's first points.

LEAGUE CITY - Clear Falls senior J.P. Lowery rolled up 197 yards rushing and contributed two touchdown runs to a spirited second rally that carried the Knights to a 24-12 victory over the Dobie Longhorns on Thursday night.
The Longhorns scored their dozen points in the first half only to see Clear Falls chalk up two dozen in the second half.
The bulk of the Knights' rally came after they lost their starting quarterback, senior Dylan Collins, to an apparent knee injury late in the third quarter. With junior Alex Assarian taking snaps, Clear Falls proved unstoppable the rest of the way.
The Longhorns will take a 1-2 record into the start of District 22-5A play against South Houston in two weeks.
Dobie senior Patrick Hurst, who rushed for 79 yards on 12 carries, gave the Longhorns a 6-0 lead with a 13-yard TD burst midway through the opening quarter. Early in the second quarter, Dobie's Kelton Bailey scored from six yards out.
The Longhorns failed to score on both conversion tries and had a short field-goal attempt blocked later in the first half.
Clear Falls, now 2-1, got a 31-yard field goal from Carson Muscat early in the third quarter. The Knights then turned the game over to Lowery, who scored from two yards out in the final minute of the third quarter and tacked on a 22-yard TD burst early in the fourth.
The Knights put the game away on a six-yard TD run by Brandon Hayward with 4:17 remaining.
  Lowery's 197 yards came on 32 carries.
Quarterback Daryl Edwards led Dobie's offense with 111 yards on 19 carries. The junior completed 8 of 18 passes for 134 yards with one interception.
