Park View Intermediate students enrolled in the Harris County Department of Education's Cooperative for After-School Enrichment program (CASE) performed onstage at the Hobby Center during the Kid's Day celebration on June 30.
  Students Noel Orozco, Mark Castro and Carlos Castro provided a capoeira performance-a Brazilian art form of mixed dance, martial arts and acrobatics-to a full crowd.
  The summer event showcased dancing, puppetry, theater, music, poetry and more from local elementary through high school students and provided opportunites for students to meet and interact with various artists. Event photo follows.
