Thompson science students were given the opportunity recently to learn more about the subject of weather. A local company, "Impact Weather," donated studio time to broadcast a different lesson for four days. Topics covered were aviation weather, hurricanes, extreme weather and how to become a meteorologist. Students were able to submit questions before the programs and some of their questions were answered during the programs. The video conference was arranged by Thompson's eighth-grade Pre-AP science teacher, Martha Weatherford. (Below) Thompson students participate in the video conference.
