THOMPSON IS PHOTOS: No Lights, No Problem For Lions
Friday, February 4th, 2011

Recent power outages failed to drain the energy of Thompson science students, who carried on with their inertia lab by candlelight. The lab required students to roll a marble down a ramp into a paper cup to measure the distance it travels. Students then added washers to the cup to increase its mass. If the marble rolled on the floor, students enjoyed trying to find it in the dark.
