South Shaver held a Book Float Parade on Friday (May 6) as part of the school's Children's Book Week celebration. Over 100 students decorated shoeboxes to look like a scene from one of their favorite books. The floats were put on display in the library and then used in a parade through the halls. Each student who built a float received a certificate. Event photo follows.
