Edward Molina, a Dobie High junior at The Summit, has been named a winner in the "Friends of the Pasadena Public Library" poetry contest. Molina's winning poem, "Night," hangs in the Summit Library along with the school's five other contest entries. An awards ceremony and reception for the winners was held May 1 at the Ginn Library in Pasadena. Molina, pictured at right, was among those reading his poem to ceremony attendees. He will receive a medal and a booklet of the winning poems. The Summit will also receive a copy.
