Nearly 400 parents, grandparents, relatives and students turned out for Thompson's annual open house last week and the unveiling of the Lions' newly repainted campus. Principal Toni Lopez gave a warm welcome. Teachers introduced the curriculum to parents and offered advice on re-enforcing studying skills. Parents expressed strong interest in the Book Fair, the school athletics booster club and the PTO program.
