Thompson's eighth-grade boys dark basketball team compiled a 13-2 record this season and won the Paadena ISD Tournament after compiling a 9-0 mark during regular-season district play.
The Lions' eighth-grade light team went 15-1, captures the district title with a 9-0 record and also the district tournament championship.
Over two years, this group of Thompson players combined to win four district titles, four district tournament titles and a total of 54 games -- a school record.
