The Pasadena High boys swim team took second place and the girls placed fourth in competition Thursday (Jan. 20) at the Dickinson Gator Invitational in Texas City.
  The boys finished just a single point behind the winning Dickinson team. Sam Rayburn's boys team took fourth.
  Pasadena's Rene Acosta won the diving competition while teammates Rene Benitez and Ronnie Acosta took second and third, respectively.
  The Eagles will next compete in the district meet on Jan. 28 at Deer Park High School.
