Genoa students participated in the American Heart Association's Hoops For Heart event recently, a fundraiser that raised a lot of fun, too. Students raising the most money earned the right to play in a basketball shootout against the teachers and principals. And the top fundraiser from each grade level got the chance to pick a coach as the target for a pie in the face. Genoa raised a grand total of $1,008.54 in the event.
