Recently, students in Mrs. Nicole Holguin's and Mrs. Angela Wright's second grade classes presented "States" as part of their research portion of the reading and writing curriculum. Students worked with a partner and learned how to complete different parts of a research project from generating questions about their state, gathering relevant information through various sources, to online research, and interviews with experts. Students in both classes finished the project with an oral presentation in front of their classmates. Event photos follow.
