Gardens Elementary held its first Trunk or Treat Family Reading Night on Thursday, Oct. 27. Students dressed up as their favorite book character, played reading games, received free books and treats and spent quality and fun time with their parents and teachers. Parents received information on reading tips and strategies to help their children at home as well as information on how to motivate them to read. Event photos follow.
