The Lomax fifth grade students would like to thank Office Craig Hamilton for all of his hard work and dedication to the  Drug Abuse Resistance Education  program that he brings to the school each year.
  Better known as DARE, the program seeks to prevent the use of drugs, prevent membership in gangs and prevent violent behavior.   
  The students would also like to thank the following companies for sponsoring the DARE program and providing shirts free of charge: Amegy Bank, Bailey Orthodontics, Houston Area Safety Council, Meador Staffing Services, Pasadena ISD Police Officers Association, Pasadena Police Alumni/Citizen Police Academy, Philibert Insurance Agency, Pinnacle Industries Ltd. and Valvoline.
