Bolton Named New Principal at Meador Elementary
Thursday, May 3rd, 2012

Beverly Bolton, assistant principal at Meador Elementary since 2001, has been named the school's new principal, moving up to the position held by Darlene Davis, who is retiring.
A Sam Houston State graduate, Bolton has been with the Pasadena ISD for 30 years. She began her career in education as a teacher at Freeman Elementary. After 13 years in the classroom, she moved to Meador to become peer facilitator, a position she held for six years.
She holds a master's degree in educational management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Bolton was approved by the Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees on Thursday night.
The board also appointed three new assistant principals, including two at Dobie High School.
The assistant principal additions at Dobie are Stefanie McKinney, who moves up from her position as GEAR Up coordinator at the school; and Collins Jerome Woods II, who leaves his position as principal at Blount High School in Mobile, Ala.
McKinney replaces long-time assistant principal Johnny Lee, who is retiring. Woods takes the position left vacant when Franklin Moses was named principal at Dobie in January.
Lisa Lyles was named the new assistant principal at Fisher Elementary. She is a former assistant principal at Genoa Elementary. She leaves her position as principal at Hilltop Elementary in the Argyle ISD.
