Be sure to visit Sophia at the Pasadena Public Library. While you are there you can also check out some great books to read for fun. The links below in the attachments section give more information about the activities sponsored by the Pasadena Public Library. Students going into third, fourth, fifth, and six grade should also consider reading books from the Name That Book Reading list. Links to the reading lists for elementary (3rd and 4th grade) and middle school (5th and 6th grade) can also be found below. All the books on the list can be found at the Pasadena Public Library. SuccessMaker - Students may use SuccessMaker at home. FreeRice.com -Help end hunger and learn something at the same time. Project Share (Epsilen) - This is a site where teachers can share information. Parent Video about SSR - This site contains two videos in English and Spanish about the benefits of Silent Sustained Reading. Bailey Campus Chronicles - Visit this site to view photos of some of the events that have happened this scool year. CoolToolsForSchools - These are web 2.0 tools for just about everything under the sun. The Great College Mystery - Get answers to questions about paying for college, choosing a college, planning for college, etc. Texas Colleges and Universities - Here is a list of Texas colleges and universities that will take you to each college or university's website.
IXL.com - This is a good site for students to work on their math skills. There is a fee for this site. Parents may wish to pay for a subscription for their child after the free trial membership.

That is why we provide many different opportunities for parents to participate so they can be easily integrated into everyone’s busy schedule. Below you’ll find a partial list of opportunities.
