The Pasadena ISD Communications/Printing Department facilitates communication between the district and its internal and external public. Examples include: School Board Relations, Media Relations, Employee/Community Newsletters, District Publications, Community Relations, the Education Foundation, Public Information Requests, Special & Academic Recognition, Special Events & Projects, the district’s web pages and videography. The Pasadena Independent School District works cooperatively with the news media for coverage of issues and events involving the school district, its students and staff. Publications Community members and parents can receive the latest district news, events, school board briefs, urgent news and news releases via email. Pasadena ISD NewsLink is a free e-mail service that provides current and accurate information published by the Communications Department. This e-mail will be sent to those who request to be added to the list. The Communications Department also publishes an e-newsletter for employees. The Communications Department publishes various traditional pieces, including Pinnacle, the Partners in Pasadena Newsletter and Parent Zone.
