Congratulations to Matthys Elementary. The Houston Chronicle ran an article about the rankings from Children at Risk, a Houston nonprofit organization. Children at Risk annually ranks the state's public schools and assigns the schools letter grades based on their performance.
Matthys was one of the two elementary schools in Pasadena ISD to receive an A. Of 775 elementary schools, Matthys Elementary ranked #88!!
