| Best Buddies is an organization where students form bonds and friendships with other students who have disabilities. There are many opportunities through out the year where these friendships can be made: Meet and Greet during September, Halloween Get-together during October, Thanksgiving meal during November, Christmas celebration during December, Valentine Party during February, Picnic in the Park during May and many other daily opportunities such as lunch time, seeing each other in the halls/classes, and even running by the classroom to drop off notes. Some friendships even have opportunities outside of school with movies, games, etc. To join Best Buddies one should visit with Mrs. Kerr in room 330 or Mrs. Eddleman in room 213. There are even activities outside of school with the Best Buddies Organization on weekends. To join is an opportunity of a life time for you and for the student you become buddies with! Meetings will be held on Tuesdays at 2:45 pm. |
