When it comes to healthy living, every little bit helps.
Grab a Friend and
Get 'On the Move to a Healthier You'
For this reason, Pasadena ISD is launching the second annual Employee Wellness Challenge to encourage staff to increase their physical activity and nutritional behaviors one month at a time.
Beginning Sept. 21, the first monthly challenge will last 12 days and will focus on physical activity. This challenge encourages each staff member to complete at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activities for 10 to 12 days.
Using a tracking sheet, record the time spent completing activities during the 12-day challenge. Submit the completed form to the Campus Health Advisory Committee (CHAC) Chair, department director or designated representative by Monday, Oct. 5 for a chance to win prizes.
To be eligible for door prizes, individuals must complete 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity for at least 10 of the 12 days. Campuses and departments eligible for prizes must have at least 10 percent participation from employees on campus or in the department.

Once again, the San Jacinto Family YMCA, 1716 Jasmine, has generously provided Pasadena ISD employees an opportunity to Move More by offering free admission each Monday from Sept. 21 to Oct. 12. Please present your district employee ID upon arrival.
