Pasadena ISD students now have a A Pasadena Memorial golfer takes a swing.place to play thanks to a partnership between the city of Pasadena and the school district.

Pasadena ISD golf programs had limited options when it came to finding places to practice.

“In the past, they were having to play in the backyard of their campus to learn how to hit balls and putt because they really couldn’t afford to come out to Pasadena Municipal Golf course,” said Tish Eubanks, city of Pasadena Educational Liaison.

Now Pasadena ISD high school golf classes play at the Pasadena Municipal Golf Course for just $200 a year per campus.

“Mayor Jeff Wagner wanted to give the children of Pasadena the opportunity to come out here, learn the game of golf and take advantage of our wonderful golf course,” Eubanks said. “He has accomplished just that.”
