As part of the company’s initiative to positively impact local schools and area charities, Pinnacle Advanced Reliability Technologies (PinnacleARTTM) today announced it raised funds to help Carter Lomax Middle School purchase much needed software for the campus. The donation will help Carter Lomax Middle School implement GradeCam, an advanced software tool that helps educators efficiently manage their time, as well as their students’ progress, grades, rosters, assessments and more in real-time.
“For more than five years, our team has supported Carter Lomax Middle School by volunteering at science fairs, mentoring young students, working with administrators on the school’s Site Based Decision Making Committee and sharing our passion at Career Days,” said Richard Scruggs, PinnacleART CEO. “Through this donation, we can help Carter Lomax educators offer the best educational experience for its students. Carter Lomax can now accomplish the same level of efficiency through GradeCam that our clients experience through our services.”
As a result of the GradeCam implementation, Carter Lomax Middle School educators and administrators can now monitor each student’s progress in the classroom, provide immediate feedback to students, grade assessments instantly, share assessments with fellow educators and ultimately, positively impact the teacher’s balance between their work and personal life.
“PinnacleART has been instrumental in the success of Carter Lomax.” said Norma Penny, Carter Lomax Middle School principal. “They routinely provide professional leadership and more than 20 mentors for students. Monetary contributions are given yearly to purchase materials that increase the productivity and efficiency of our teachers. PinnacleART is truly a part of our Carter Lomax family.”
In addition to the donation, PinnacleART will also participate in Carter Lomax Middle School’s annual Career Day on Wednesday, Nov. 18. PinnacleART team members will be on-site to give more than 650 students an exclusive look into exciting careers paths in engineering, accounting, information technology, learning and development and human resources.
