Nelda R. Sullivan Middle to Host School Dedication, Dec. 1
Nelda R. Sullivan Middle School invites students, parents and community members to join them for their campus dedication celebration, Thursday, Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
The campus, made possible through community support of the 2011 School Bond, was named after long-time board member Nelda Sullivan.
Sullivan, a retired business woman and volunteer in the community, has served the district as a member of the Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees for 23 years.
The campus is located on the old Queens Intermediate site. It is also the same location where her children attended school. Now she can share her legacy with future generations.
“It is such an honor knowing that this school will open to a new generation of children in the Queens community,” Sullivan said. “I know that my mother and husband [Charles] would be so proud to know that our family legacy will live on through this school.”
The nearly 125,000 square-foot facility opened its doors to over 650 students in fall 2016 and accommodates students from L.F. Smith, South Shaver and Williams Elementary Schools.
Join the campus as they commemorate their grand opening at 1112 Queens Road, Pasadena TX 77502.
