Pasadena ISD officers honor fallen colleague

Pasadena ISD Police Officers honored the memory of their fallen colleague, Deputy Darren Goforth, during a memorial ceremony Friday, Sept. 4.

As part of a call from Gov. Greg Abbott, Pasadena ISD officers joined law enforcement across the state to mourn the loss of their brother in blue.

Officers throughout the district activated their emergency lights at 11 a.m. and observed a moment of silence for one minute.

In addition to this memorial, members of the Pasadena ISD Police Department Honor Guard attended the funeral of the fallen officer.
