Posted on 06/20/2016

The State Board of Education is seeking input from the public on a survey about the state’s current assessment and accountability programs.

Pasadena ISD encourages all parents, business leaders, educators and students to participate in the survey, which will end Thursday, June 30.

Before giving input into the survey, participants are asked to watch three videos regarding current assessment practices.

The survey is available in both English by visiting http://bit.ly/1ro3Hkz and Spanish by visiting http://bit.ly/1S99hgu.

The information gathered from the survey will be compiled into a report and presented to the SBOE for its consideration at their July 19-22 meeting. Once adopted, the report will be provided to legislative leaders and the Texas Commission on Next Generation Assessments and Accountability.
