|The 2015 Fall Mini-Grant Application deadline is Thursday, September 17.
Applications should be in the Community Relations/Education Foundation
Office at the Administration Building no later than 4:30 pm. The mini-grant application along with mini-grant guidelines may be found on the Education Foundation website.

2. Mail or deliver all documents including cover page with original signatures.
Applications will not be processed until originals are received.
A workshop on “How to Write a Mini-Grant” will be presented by Gloria Gallegos on September 9 from 4 to 5 pm
in the Administration Building Board Room. This is a foundation
sponsored event and not considered staff development. It is highly
encouraged for first time grant writers or those who have not had
success in the past.
The Education Foundation awards mini-grants twice a year to
educators for campus or classroom projects to enhance student success.
Applications are scored by readers and then screened by a selection
committee made up of foundation board members. Applications are accepted
for up to $5000.00. Helpful guidelines can be found at the foundation website.
| Employee admittance to district athletic events:
|All district employees should receive an identification (ID) badge from your school/department. On the back, you should have a sticker that reads ’2015-2016.’ If you do not have the sticker on the back of your ID, please see the school secretary on your campus who handles the distribution of these stickers.
Your ID will allow YOU and a guest free admission to athletic events in Pasadena ISD. It is important that you have your ID with you or you will have to pay the regular admission price. If you have yet to receive your ID badge and would like to attend an upcoming competition, you may come by the ticket office at Phillips Field House and receive a one-time pass for that athletic event. Please remember to bring with you a check stub to verify employment.
Out of town athletic events: Your ID badge/sticker will not be accepted at out of town venues for regular season or playoff games. If you plan to attend an athletic event held at another facility other than a Pasadena ISD facility, you will need to purchase a ticket at the game or at the ticket office at Phillips Field House.
|Dr. Kirk Lewis announced to the Board of Trustees on June 23 that he would be retiring in January, 2016. Dr. Lewis has been an inspiration to the staff and students in the district. We are forever changed for the better because of his influence.

|Microsoft in the Classroom workshops are available for teachers starting in July at the Microsoft Store Baybrook Mall. They are free and will help teachers use technology more efficiently and creatively in their classrooms. Classes are limited to 5 teachers at a time.
