Board of Trustees Approve Raises for Pasadena ISD Staff
The Board of Trustees unanimously voted to approve a 2.25 percent of midpoint raise for all Pasadena ISD employees for the 2016-17 school year. Those employees on the Teacher Salary Schedule that were on Step 5 for the 2015-2016 school year and will go to Step 6 for the 2016-2017 school year will receive an additional 1 percent of midpoint raise, totaling 3.25 for that school year ONLY.
The employee increase has been calculated by taking the approved percentage amount and multiplying that by the 2015-16 midpoint rate of an employee’s assigned pay grade.
Board approved increase = 2.25 percent
Your pay grade midpoint 2015-2016 = $16.00 per hour
$16.00 per hour times .0225 = $0.32 = new hourly rate $16.32
The new salary increases have been calculated and are available through the link below. Employees can view the total increase by locating the assigned pay grade and the number of days they are scheduled to work annually.
