Christine Golibart-Coppedge was named principal of Williams Elementary School during a recent meeting of the Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees.

As a former teacher at Matthys Elementary and Milstead Middle, peer facilitator at Jensen Elementary and assistant principal at Roberts Middle, she brings a wealth of educational experience to her new role.

“I’m forever grateful to the previous leaders I’ve been fortunate to work under for helping to mold me into the person I am today,” said Golibart-Coppedge.

She says she is excited for the new challenge and is looking forward to meeting and working with the students and families in the Williams community.

“I’m honored and privileged to have been chosen as the new principal,” said Golibart-Coppedge. “I have a passion and love for education and students. I can’t wait to jump in and see the students progress and succeed.”

Golibart-Coppedge will take over as principal following former principal Michael Hanson’s transfer to Sam Rayburn High School.
