Example: If a teacher is being transferred to another location, and has 20-30 boxes of instructional material that will need to be moved, use MySchoolBuilding to enter the Warehouse work order.

NOTE:  WAREHOUSE WILL NOT MOVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS DUE TO THE LIABILITY FACTOR.

If Records Management boxes are to be picked up, specify the following:

a.    LONG TERM STORAGE

b.   IMMEDIATE DESTRUCTION

We store these in separate sections, so we need to know what is what.  Also, DO NOT ENTER A WORK ORDER UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED PERMISSION FROM RECORDS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND COMPLETED THE PROPER PAPERWORK AND LABELED OR MARKED THE BOXES ACCORDINGLY.

Use ONLY the correct type storage boxes.  These can be ordered from the Warehouse on RQ10, using catalog number 57-014400.
