Donations

The Board must approve all donations by policy, but they do not have to approve them in advance.  A donation report is prepared for the board each month for what we have previously received. 

Cash or checks that are receipted through the cash receipt system needs to be documented on the non-student receipt with a “Yes” as a donation and the correct amount in the donation field.  Then the donation will be included on the list for the board to approve.

Donations that are not cash or check, the donation information will need to be entered on the “Partners In Pasadena Donation Report” on the district website.

Donations that are received by credit card using the RevTrak software will need to be entered on the “Partners In Pasadena Donation Report” on the district website.

An 865 fund that is inactive, when the balance of that fund is transferred, you will need to fill out the “Partners In Pasadena Donation Report” on the district website.   

To transfer the inactive 865 fund balance:

  1. Complete a Journal Entry Request Form.
  2. Attach the Teacher Activity Detail Report.
  3. Attach a statement from the Principal indicating the 865 club is no longer active.
    1. If available the minutes from the meeting.
