Community U Application

Community U

Community “U”

The Pasadena ISD Community “U” Academy is a series of informative meetings that gives an inside look at Pasadena ISD.  The purpose is to promote a greater awareness of the district.

Presented in a friendly, casual environment, the academy covers a wide variety of subject areas including: Career and Technical Education, Personalized Learning, Dual Language, Early College High School, Dual Credit, and Advanced Placement.

The topic for the second meeting of the spring semester is school safety.  As you are aware our nation is saddened by what took place in Parkland, Florida and Pasadena ISDs focus continues to be on how we can keep our schools safe and secure.  The participants of this meeting will be trained in A.L.I.C.E. (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate).  This is an active parent/community meeting of what Pasadena ISD is currently training our faculty and staff on regarding an intruder/shooter situation.
Please no children or students.
