Pasadena High School FFA Beef Heifer Show Team members were recognized by placing in the cattle show at the 2019 National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show outshining exhibitors from 11 different states.
Incoming Junior Daniel Esquivel was named Intermediate National Champion Showman and placed 16th out of 37 exhibitors with his heifer, Whitney. Esquivel also participated in the Photography and the Livestock Judging contests.
Incoming Senior Eduardo Reyes placed twice with two of his heifers, Rita and Nala. Reyes placed 17th out of 39 exhibitors with Rita and 16th out of 24 with Nala. He participated in Showmanship, the Photography and the Livestock Judging contests.
Incoming Senior Gerardo Gonzalez received 11th place with his heifer, Penny. Gonzalez also participated in Showmanship, the Photography and the Livestock Judging contests.
