Like a good neighbor Kinder Morgan was there to lend a helping hand to Pasadena High School families.
Gulf Area Kinder Morgan employees and contractors donated a truck full of everyday essentials to Pasadena High School on Tuesday as part of a company-wide community outreach initiative.
The effort was Kinder Morgan’s way of doing some good in the community.
  “
Too often we take for granted small personal items that we use on a daily basis,” James Wilson, Kinder Morgan general manager said. “We wanted to provide students with common necessities so they can spend more time focusing on their education.”
The organization was able to collect enough items to fill a total of 779 bags with toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, among other essentials to give to PHS students and their families.
“We really appreciate Kinder Morgan for coming out and spending their time and effort to give back to the communities they are involved in,” Steve Martin, Pasadena High School’s assistant principal said.
