The Pasadena ISD Extended Year Program celebrated the graduation of 56 seniors at Sam Rayburn High School, Friday, Aug. 7.

The seniors, representative of each high school, completed their course credits in the summer school Extended Year program.

“Summer graduation is a celebration for students who have worked hard to complete the requirements that will enable them to fulfill their life goals,” Eric Martinez, extended year program manager and Dobie High School assistant principal said. “It is a steppingstone for future successes. It not only impacts their lives but the lives of their families and community.  It is a privilege to be part of something so impactful.”

The celebration concluded with a crowd of family and friends meeting their graduates in the foyer of the Rayburn auditorium.
