The Pasadena South Rotary recently honored outstanding high school teachers throughout the district at its annual Teacher of the Year Luncheon at the Silver Sycamore.

The event kicked off with an inspirational message from the keynote speaker, Troy McCarley, associate superintendent of campus development.

“Education is continually changing but what has not changed about education is the impact you have on students every day,” McCarley said. From the Pasadena South Rotary at the bottom of hearts, we say thank you for the impact you have on students.”

Campus administrators accompanied each Teacher of the Year and shared inspiring stories about why they were selected for the award.

Each winning teacher received a glass plaque in honor of their extraordinary work.
