The Pasadena Area Retired School Employees (PARSE) organization presented a check for $502,066 to Pasadena ISD School Superintendent Dr. Kirk Lewis. The check reflects over 23,500 hours of community service PARSE volunteers donated to benefit district students since the start of the school year.

The Pasadena Area Retired School Employees organization is comprised of 234 men and women who share a passion for education. Members perform tasks typically assigned to paid employees such as tutoring, reading to students, and child care, to name a few.
