College Board Awards

Pasadena ISD is committed to the advancement of students willing to undertake the rigorous coursework exemplified by College Board’s Advanced Placement program. PISD currently offers as many as  AP courses, depending on the campus, allowing students the opportunity to earn college credit that is accepted at colleges and universities nationwide (dependent upon a qualifying score on the associated AP exam). This commitment to students is evidenced by the numerous College Board awards Pasadena ISD has received. Among those awards are the Gaston Caperton Opportunity Honor Roll earned in 2015 and the AP District Honor Roll earned in 2013 and 2017. Pasadena continues to expand the AP course opportunities open to all high school students.
