Bush and Meador Elementary have been named to the 2017-18 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll for outstanding academic achievements and student success.

"Ever since we've had STAAR testing on our campus, we’ve received every single distinction available from TEA," said Meador Principal Beverly Bolton. "I think our students have worked really hard for a long time to earn this and I couldn't be more proud of them."

"Our focus is on helping our students become lifelong learners," added Bush Principal Stephanie Miller. "Receiving this recognition validates everything that our teachers, coaches and tutors are doing as a team to ensure the success of all students at Bush Elementary."

The schools were among 729 public schools in Texas to receive the distinction, awarded annually to campuses that continuously demonstrate high levels of academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time and reductions in achievement gaps among student populations.

“At ERP, we are committed to closing achievement gaps and removing educational obstacles for historically disadvantaged students,” said James Lanich, Ph.D., ERP president and CEO.  “These bright spot schools and districts are implementing programs and practices that are improving educational equity and accelerating student success. We need to shine a spotlight on their work and encourage others to replicate it.”
