Pasadena ISD hosted visitors from its sister schools in Hadano, Japan on January 6-11. Comprised of middle school and high school students, teachers, school district officials and city officials, the delegation toured their sister campuses – Teague Elementary, Sparks Elementary and Thompson Intermediate. The delegates also toured the district’s Lewis Career and Technical High School.

The Pasadena ISD Athletics Hall of Fame committee is hosting its eighth annual induction ceremony, recognizing some of the most celebrated names in athletics at PISD. The event, scheduled for April 4, 2020, at Phillips Field House, will add 10 names to its roster, including five athletes, three coaches, a family and one team.

EDUCATION FOUNDATION


Education Foundation

The Pasadena ISD Education Foundation has been created to support educational programs for both the students and staff of the district. The foundation provides funds for educational programs and activities which either have not been funded or have been under-funded by the normal operating budget.

Distributed to teachers who apply in the form of mini-grants, the funds are used to facilitate innovative teaching strategies, energize student achievement and skill development, recognize and encourage staff excellence and expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations.
