Safety & Security Enhancements: 


  • PASADENA ISD POLICE DEPARTMENT  is partnering with local law enforcement agencies to increase its police presence throughout the school district.

  • A.L.I.C.E. DRILLS (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate)
    ALICE is the leading training solution that increases an organization’s and individual’s odds of survival during a violent intruder event.

  • EMERGENCY RESPONSE DRILLS Campuses utilize a set of Standard Response Protocols to routinely conduct drills addressing events such as severe weather, medical emergencies, fire evacuations, hazardous materials release, suspicious persons, and an active shooter situation.

  • ANONYMOUS ALERTS encourages students, parents, staff, and community members to be proactive about school safety by reporting suspicious activity, bullying, or any issues of concern through the Anonymous Alerts® anti-bullying and safety app.

  • VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM  provides campuses with a bird’s eye view of anyone entering, exiting, or walking the halls of a school building in case of a threat.

  • METAL DETECTOR SCREENING Pasadena ISD implemented random metal detector screenings for secondary campuses to prevent and deter students from bringing weapons to a school.

  • EMERGENCY ALERT NOTIFICATION allows staff members to immediately notify campus, district and police of potential threats or emergency situations through the APP.

  • SAFE SCHOOL AMBASSADORS PROGRAM is an evidence-based program that harnesses the power of students to prevent and stop bullying and mistreatment.
